This afternoon I had the honor of taking photos of my cousin Karah before her senior prom. With Emmy in tow we drove to her house to start taking pictures. It was so much fun! I wish more of my work included being around my family. Despite the rain we made the best of the afternoon and worked with all the natural light we had. Thanks to their sunny porch we were able to capture some great moments.

We took our 25 day old baby to her first pumpkin patch / baby wearing adventure! We were feeling a little homesick due to Cape Cod fall weather and foliage being no where near comparable to that of New Hampshire's. To help cure our New Hampshire blues we found one of the only pumpkin patches on Cape.

Our very first #FVF post is our huge 'thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you' to the ever so talented Nick Ferran!

Without our branding we would still be at square one, so that for we are forever grateful.
Please check out his work here.

Raise your hand if your family photo has ever been sabotaged by your child using only their weird fake smile 🙋♀️ You know the one.
One thing I hear time and time again from fellow parents (of babies, and of grown ones too) is they wish someone could snap their photo during the moments that feel the most real. The moments where the magic of all your people in one place together brings out the most authentic versions of yourselves. There’s a certain energy that comes out of each of us when we’re some place we want to be, with people we actually want to be with, while feeling beautiful in your own way.
