This afternoon I had the honor of taking photos of my cousin Karah before her senior prom. With Emmy in tow we drove to her house to start taking pictures. It was so much fun! I wish more of my work included being around my family. Despite the rain we made the best of the afternoon and worked with all the natural light we had. Thanks to their sunny porch we were able to capture some great moments.

Our very first #FVF post is our huge 'thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you' to the ever so talented Nick Ferran!
This gracious human being saw what George's intentions were for our logo and completely brought it to life. He's incredibly diligent, and quick without cutting any corners (I swear it felt like he did this within the hour! ). Without our branding we would still be at square one, so that for we are forever grateful.
Please check out his work here.
Hello! | Meet Christy & George
Welcome to our new website!
We are so, so excited to start this new excursion together. As most of you know we are expecting our first child this September (goodness gracious! it's so fun to say out loud!). This means we are currently booking weddings for the 2015 season and are no longer booking for this year. However, we are still booking for all your other photography needs up until August.
Stay tuned for our upcoming adventures in parenthood, business, and the occasional update on our best friend Artie. If you haven't met him yet, you're in for a treat. He's the most beautiful pug I've ever laid eyes on (okay, I know I'm biased but he is! I swear it!).
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend,
xoxo Christy & George
Raise your hand if your family photo has ever been sabotaged by your child using only their weird fake smile 🙋♀️ You know the one.
One thing I hear time and time again from fellow parents (of babies, and of grown ones too) is they wish someone could snap their photo during the moments that feel the most real. The moments where the magic of all your people in one place together brings out the most authentic versions of yourselves. There’s a certain energy that comes out of each of us when we’re some place we want to be, with people we actually want to be with, while feeling beautiful in your own way.
