A day of fundraising, golf, good laughs, and community
Veterans Golf Clinic & Tournament
On Monday at noon sharp, over 130 golfers, volunteers, and dedicated staff gathered on the grounds of a Falmouth, MA golf course. Twenty-two foursomes set out to play on the sprawling 7,047 yard, Par-72 TGC at Sacconnesset Course with only a few goals in mind: play a good round of golf, have some fun, and raise some money for the Veterans in their community.
Since 2015, Eisley Images has had the honor of photographing the annual TGC Golf for the Troops tournament and complimentary golf clinic for Veterans. This impactful two day event just celebrated it’s 10 year anniversary of raising money in the way they know best - golf! Inspired by General John Flanagan, the first board member of the TGC for Troops Fund, the spirit of supporting Veterans became the fuel for the success story they have today.
Proceeds of this annual event are directly given to the TGC For The Troops Fund, who in turn, ensure every penny is used to support veteran organizations all over the Cape. The Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center are the proud recipients of this years fundraising. In thanks for the sponsors and donors of this event $50k+ was raised! In the lifetime of TGC for the Troops $365k has been raised!
The TGC Fund has since contributed to: grants for job fairs, emergency repairs, job training, relief from catastrophic medical expenses, care packages to deployed service members, backpacks and school supplies for military children, and sustains the General John Flanagan Memorial Scholarship Fund for post secondary opportunities for children of military families.
This annual event would not be possible without the following:
TGC Board Members: Ted Pasquarello, and Bill Cotter
TGC Staff: Charlie Passios (Chief Operating Officer), Douglas Errhalt (Director of Golf), Trevor England (Golf Professional), Joanna Rae Alessi (Director of Membership), Linda Morris (Front of the House Manager)

Golf Pros at the Clinic: Doug Errhalt, Trevor England, Jill Powers (Pocasset Country Club), Bobby McCarthy
Photo & Video Team: Charlie Fields, Christine Gagnon & George Gagnon of Eisley Images

Apache Helicopter from the Air National Guard. I got to test it out. The crew jokingly assured me I couldn’t accidentally turn it on, but if I somehow figured out the 11 page checklist to get the Apache off the ground, I could take it haha
