Last year before Halloween George and I came across this incredible farm for pumpkin patching, corn mazein’ and, most importantly, apple cider donuts! We invited my parents along for the adventure. Our visit was on a weekday which meant the kids attractions, to Emmy’s dismay, were not open. That didn’t stop us from having fun!

A 40 degree windy Saturday morning, I headed down the hill from our house here in East Providence to Downtown Providence. Once we walked over the hill by the mall and the State House was finally in view, my heart swelled just like it did the previous year. A sea of humans gladly took time out of their day to stand peacefully side by side with their community members (children + dogs, too!). That's pretty freakin' cool if you ask me.
A peaceful display of opposition in the name of equality, human rights, and intersectional feminism amongst Rhode Islanders near and far. The Nationwide Women's March felt right at home in our small and mighty State.

George took our girl outside for an hour today! Giving the stay at home spouse in your life time to breathe + reset however they see fit is something I can't even place a value on. In the one hour they spent outside I was able to reset, and put in work to our business and home which in turn gives me all the rejuvenation in the world for many reasons

Our favorite friends Nikole and Jarrett made the trek down from New Hampshire to our home in Rhode Island. We finally got to meet their lil babe, Milo! He was just as doofie as I imagined. Artie and Milo spent 10+ hours romping around the world. Emerson was thrilled to be the keeper of the treats and accepted all the puppy kisses in return for her hard work.

We took our 25 day old baby to her first pumpkin patch / baby wearing adventure! We were feeling a little homesick due to Cape Cod fall weather and foliage being no where near comparable to that of New Hampshire's. To help cure our New Hampshire blues we found one of the only pumpkin patches on Cape.
