An early spring engagement session with a joyful New Hampshire couple in the woods of Lincoln, Rhode Island
This session has felt like years in the making for a few reasons. Lyndsey and Patrick have been sweethearts since 2013. She was a waitress and he was a fry cook at Newicks in Dover, NH. Patrick asked her out on a date and she’s been his “doll” ever since. (He calls her doll and it’s the sweetest thing in the entire world!!! I just adore them)
Over the years they have celebrated Lyndsey earning her Masters Degree as Physicians Assistant, becoming home owners, growth in their careers, and despite all the changes, they dedicate the time to find the joy in life. These once-in-a-lifetime loves are only just beginning their next adventure. It’s clear to anyone who spends more than one minute with them, that it’s shaping up to be excellent :)
For me, it feels like years in the making because Newicks is where I met Lyndsey, her sister and her Mom back in 2007! I worked there as a hostess my senior year of high school. Lyndsey and I had all the things in common that any person needed to be my instant friend - an affinity for Harry Potter & the same music preference. Soon our days were spent cruising to the beach to lay out before or after our shifts, going to shows, and even the midnight release of the Deathly Hallows in Hogwarts Square (aka Harvard Square for you muggles) with our group of friends.
Their Engagement Session
I am so thrilled and deeply honored to be the one to help tell this love story to the world! You are all going to fall in love with this joyful couple. They embodied every characteristic of an “Eisley Couple” by giving a new meaning to “laughing loudly and loving deeply”. We spent their entire engagement session laughing, catching up, and most importantly, not getting run over by extreme mountain bikers. Lyndsey is the kind of person you can pick right back up where you left off. It was an absolute delight to witness her with her best friend! They are the real deal! Watching her with Pat simply warmed my heart. They clearly love doing life together and that, my friends, is a key foundation in a marriage.
The Proposal
In December of 2018, Patrick and Lyndsey took a drive up to their favorite region of New Hampshire, up North in Jackson. There could be no better spot to commemorate this moment than in the center of town surrounded by a Hallmark worthy wintry scene. Picture this: a tremendous amount of snow, Nestlenook sleighs in the background, and quaint Christmas Lights. Patrick asked Lyndsey to marry him! She was ecstatic and surprised all at once! With a joyful “Yes!” they ended their year with the happiest news to call home with.
It took 22 years to find her and 5 years of smiles and laughter to ask one big question, And she said YES!!!!
The Wedding Plans
Since 2013, Lyndsey and Patrick have always made it a point to head up North to the White Mountain region at least 4-5 times a year. Inviting all their loved ones to celebrate their wedding at the White Mountain Hotel & Resort was the perfect idea. Their October wedding surrounded by another beautiful season that makes the State of New Hampshire come alive will be the most gorgeous setting!
We’ll see you in 165 days, friends!
