Eisley Images’ first wedding of the season started off the best way possible - an Irish Wedding in Boston’s Seaport on St. Patrick’s Day Weekend! The energy in the city was electric, but it was no match for the energy the newlywed’s guests had. Has Our Lady of Good Voyage ever heard a rousing cheer when a Groom made his way to the alter before? If those walls hadn’t, they did that day!
The couple prepared for their wedding day in different suites at the Quincy Marriott with their wedding parties and parents. Anna and her bridesmaids spent the morning together laughing, sipping on champagne, and using Michelle’s amazing ring light for selfie’s together while she dolled up the rest of the bridal party. Meanwhile, Bobby and his groomsmen spent the morning bowling! With the help of their mothers, Anna and Bobby dressed for their wedding. (Shout out to George for helping those gentlemen with their boutonnieres!) The guys headed towards the Seaport first to start their portrait taking. Not soon after, the ladies hopped on a trolley and made their way to the Seaport with champagne in hand and childhood stories to share!
In efforts to maximize their time spent together and with their guests, the future Mr. & Mrs. Faherty shared a first look - a quiet moment together before their ceremony with their wedding party lovingly looking on from a distance. After the happy tears and nerves dissipated, we embarked on our favorite part of the day - wedding day portraits! The Boston Skyline was the perfect backdrop.
Our Lady of Good Voyage is one of the most beautiful and exceptional churches we have ever had the honor of photographing a wedding ceremony in. With access to the balcony and the side of the aisles next to the alter, George and I had a photo field day. Their celebration of love kicked off with two readings from loved ones and the rest of the ceremony left many guests with tears in their eyes. As soon as the newlyweds left the church they were greeted with the sound of bag pipes filling the air and a wedding party swarm full of hugs and excitement!
Their wedding reception carried over the energy and excitement from the ceremony in Boston. The Neighborhood Club of Quincy provided a historic and grand feel to an already magnificent day. After a warm and cozy cocktail hour next to the fire, their guests enjoyed their equally delicious and visually stunning meal. The perfect fuel for a long night of Irish jigs! After dinner, their guests were wowed by the Top Shelf Cookie display! Whiskey and beer in cookies? Brilliant and scrumptious!
We felt like part of the Bigley & Faharty clan the entire day. Leaving at the end of the night was bittersweet. We hope you all enjoy these! Pass along a kind word to the couple in the comments section below :)
