A Charming and Cozy Rhode Island Engagement Session in Historic Wickford Village
Winter in Wickford Village is even more charming than it is in the summer
Rhode Island engagement sessions don’t get better than this! Wickford Village is a historic and charming seaside town. We walked along the brick sidewalks down to the harbor and making frequent portrait stops along the way. Even though it was chilly, these two snuggled close look perfectly warm.
In our three years of making Rhode Island our home state, our family has been chipping away at our ever growing list of places to experience in the Ocean State. We fell head over heels in love with Wickford Village. It’s very reminiscent of our old neighborhood in Hyannis on the harbor and one of our favorite places in the world, Portsmouth, NH. The history of this little slice of New England charm is absolutely delightful. We knew we had to photograph an Eisley Couple in this magical little town!
Kristin + Julian found us through a Facebook ad we had circulating! It was like we put our wish into the universe for a couple exactly like them… and poof! There they were :) In a storytelling twist, turns out they are friends with a past Eisley Couple - Dan and Andrea! We just knew this was meant to be. After an hour long skype call with the four of us, I think it’s safe to say we all became friends that night!
Julian proposed to his once-in-a-lifetime love at their Disney World resort! To make the occasion even more memorable and monumental, he plotted an epic surprise with their family and best friends so they could all be there to witness him pop the question! Our hearts MELTED when they were retelling the story! We just adore sweet, thoughtful and fun grooms. Julian is just that :)
About their wedding
These two will be tying the knot this summer at the stunning Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA. We are already dreaming about their glowy summer portraits on the lake. From what we know about their friends and family so far, this joyful celebration will be what their guests look forward to all 2020!
